A year ago: Steyning

One year ago: Steyning

A year ago, we left a greedy landlady whose teeth were greener than spinach, we left her stinking, mouldy walls, her crumbling roof, her decaying building and stinking rats just off the seashore.

And in the midst of the mess, we found a place called Steyning. A year ago we felt scared and alone, but not anymore, because we now have a peaceful home.

I wish you all love, hope and joyful happiness!

Yoneko Shiraishi

I explore creativity as a thread that connects people across cultures, generations, and experiences. Through illustration, textiles, paper arts, and creative education, I encourage curiosity, experimentation, and meaningful connections through making. I believe creativity is a lifelong journey that helps us understand ourselves, connect with others, and imagine new possibilities.
